Gulf of Naples

Gulf of Naples

The Gulf of Naples is located in southwestern Italian region of Campania, approximately 15km wide, and is bordered by the beautiful cities of Naples and Pozzuoli on the north, Vulcano Mount Vesuvius on the east, on the south by the Sorrentine Peninsula with amazing coastline you should visit to witness it’s beauty. Gulf opens up to the Mediterranean Sea on the west but before the Mediterranean see there are islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida and they are all good places to sail and enjoy your holiday. Sailing around the islands is probably the best way to discover them. Stop by a sea cave the Blue Grotto on Capri island. Sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern.
